Resident Engineer for three construction projects at Bonriki International Airport in South Tarawa, Kiribati. This project included monitoring and supervision of: runway, taxiway and apron resurfacing; installation of airside drainage and ducting; construction of a terminal car park; enabling works and installation of navigational aids and lighting, and; construction of a perimeter fence.
The project also included monitoring and supervision for enabling works and installation of navigational aids and lighting at Cassidy International Airport in Kiritimati, Kiribati.
The project included monitoring the Contractors’ adherence to specifications, plans, and environmental and social safeguards, including carrying out quality control and testing of the physical works, issuing instructions and variations to the Contractor, processing claims, and reporting to the clients.
